Kristina Funahashi is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Funahashi represents public, private, and emerging healthcare and life sciences companies on various transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, public offerings, and strategic licensing and collaborations.

Ms. Funahashi earned her law degree from the University of Southern California, where she attended as a Gold Honors Scholar. While in law school, she served as the executive articles editor of the Southern California Law Review and as a Civil Procedure teaching assistant for first-year law students. Before attending law school, Ms. Funahashi worked as a consultant to healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies and as a research assistant at a molecular neurobiology laboratory.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Ms. Funahashi was a summer associate in the San Diego office.
