Karen Sung

Karen Sung is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Data & Technology Transactions Practice.

Karen represents public and private companies on intellectual property and commercial matters, including for financings, mergers and acquisitions, stock offerings, and other transactions.

Karen earned her JD from Yale Law School, where she served as a submissions editor of the Yale Journal of Law & Technology and a teaching fellow for courses on intellectual property. While in law school, Karen also worked as a legal intern for the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office on the Data & Privacy Task Force.

Prior to joining Latham, Karen worked at a public affairs consulting firm in Washington, D.C.
