    Stephanie Li is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins and is a member of the Corporate Department.

    Stephanie advises clients on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures.

    Experience

    Stephanie’s experience includes advising:

    • A consortium led by Starwood Capital Group, Sixth Street, and SSW Partners on the US$7.1 billion take-private of ESR Group Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This deal represents the largest privatization from the HKEX since 2021
    • A large Asia-headquartered fund on multiple acquisitions in Asia for the purpose of creating a new global business services platform, Ascentium
    • TPG Capital, through its subsidiary Columbia Asia Healthcare, on the acquisition of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care, a Malaysia-based healthcare joint venture. This transaction was awarded Best M&A Deal: Malaysia at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2024
    • Warburg Pincus on the investment in Everise, a Singapore-based global healthcare services outsourcing company
