John (Jack) Ring is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the White Collar Defense & Investigations practice.
Jack represents clients in high-stakes government investigations and in government contract litigation, including bid protests, claims, and actions brought under the False Claims Act. He also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing veterans in benefits matters and advising nonprofit organizations on compliance with government grant requirements
Prior to joining Latham, Jack served as a law clerk to the Hon. Eleni M. Roumel of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Jack received his JD, cum laude, from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. While in law school, Jack was a writing fellow and participated in Scalia Law’s Free Speech and Supreme Court Clinics. He also served as a legal intern for the Hon. Dabney L. Friedrich of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia; the National Courts Section of the United States Department of Justice; the United States International Trade Commission; and the United States Securities & Exchange Commission.
