Joelle Hageboutros is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins.

Before joining Latham, Ms. Hageboutros served as a judicial law clerk to H.E. Judge Nawaf Salam at the International Court of Justice. Throughout law school, Ms. Hageboutros participated in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where her team won the Best Applicant Memorial at the Global Rounds in 2021. She also externed at the US State Department’s Office of the Legal Adviser in 2021.

Additionally, Ms. Hageboutros was a Salzburg Cutler Fellow in 2020 and 2021. Ms. Hageboutros also received a 2020 Pro Bono Leader of the Year award for her work with the International Human Rights Advocates group. Upon graduation, she earned the Noyce E. Leech Award for the highest achievement in International Law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Hageboutros graduated phi beta kappa from Swarthmore College and received a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in Jordan.
