Jean-Baptiste Douchy is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Antitrust & Competition Practice. Jean-Baptiste advises clients on EU and French competition law.
Jean-Baptiste advises public and private companies on EU law matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions, abuse of dominance, State aid and cartel infringements, and other regulatory issues. He practices in the areas of technology, insurance, sports, automotive, and energy.
Jean-Baptiste joined the firm in 2019 after working in the Brussels office of another leading international law firm. He previously completed an internship at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition in the Energy and Environment merger unit.
