James O. Akinleye

James Akinleye represents financial institutions, corporate borrowers, banks, and private equity firms in a variety of financing transactions, including secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, asset-based lending facilities, and refinancing.

Prior to joining Latham, James worked as a finance associate at another international law firm based in Chicago.

While in law school, James was the Associate Managing Editor of the Washington University Law Review and also served as President of the Student Bar Association.
