Dr. Jakob Hüger is an associate in the Litigation & Trial Department in the Frankfurt office of Latham & Watkins.

Jakob advises national and international clients on questions relating to data privacy, artificial intelligence, and other aspects of EU digital law. He represents clients in data protection litigation and supervisory proceedings, and provides guidance on compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, including those governing artificial intelligence and European data law. His work also includes advising on data protection aspects of corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Latham as an associate, Jakob worked as a legal trainee for Latham and other international law firms. He also worked in the AI Office of the European Commission in Brussels. Jakob received his doctorate in the regulation of artificial intelligence.
