Jakob Baldes

Jakob Baldes is an associate in the Corporate Department of Latham & Watkins' Düsseldorf office.

Mr. Baldes advises German and international companies and financial investors on M&A and private equity transactions, restructurings, and general corporate law. He counsels clients from a wide range of industries, including:

• Energy and infrastructure
• Healthcare services and providers

Prior to joining Latham as an associate, Mr. Baldes worked as a law clerk in Latham’s Corporate Department in Düsseldorf and gained experience working as an academic assistant in the Bonn office of a major German law firm. He also worked for the Federal Audit Office (Bundesrechnungshof).
