Isabelle Knapton is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.

Isabelle advises clients on a variety of transactions, including international capital markets, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters across a range of sectors.

Prior to qualification, Isabelle trained in the firm’s London and Dubai offices, gaining experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.

Isabelle’s experience includes advising:

  • Satsuma Technologies PLC on its admission to the ESCC Category of the Official List of the FCA
  • Diversified Energy Company on its redomiciliation from the UK to the US by way of a court approved scheme of arrangement, and its subsequent move to the ESICC Category of Official List of the FCA
  • Verisure, the leading provider of professionally monitored security services in Europe and Latin America, on its €13.7 billion IPO on Nasdaq Stockholm
  • NorthC Group on the acquisition of six data centres in Germany and the Netherlands from Colt
  • Cobalt Holdings on its proposed US$230 million IPO on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange
  • Varkey Group on the investment by a consortium led by Brookfield Asset Management to invest in GEMS Education
  • Mereo Biopharma on their ongoing “at-the-market” share offering programs, and UK governance matters
  • Apollo Global Management on its firm offer (in a consortium with Concord Music) for Hipgnosis Songs Royalty Fund Limited
  • Leonard Green & Partners on its investment in IRIS Software Group
  • 888 Holdings Plc on its £2.2 billion acquisition of the international (non-US) business of William Hill, a reverse takeover under the UK Listing Rules
  • WE Soda on its proposed IPO on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange
