Eva Beyer Blumental is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s global Antitrust & Competition Practice. She advises clients on EU competition law.
Eva advises major companies on the full range of EU and international competition law, and has experience in multinational transactions. She regularly acts on behalf of international corporations in merger review proceedings before the European Commission and competition authorities worldwide.
Eva provided strategic advice in diverse industry sectors such as healthcare, energy, financial services, industrials, and private equity.
Prior to joining Latham, Eva worked as an associate at another global law firm in Brussels.

A Brussels and Düsseldorf-based Latham antitrust team, led by Sven Völcker and Dr. Michael Esser, successfully persuaded the European Commission to close without action or remedy, its interim measures investigation against Lufthansa.
The Commission opened interim measures proceedings only twice since 2001, with Latham successfully resolving investigations for Lufthansa (2025) and for Broadcom (2020).
