Erin Cusenbary is an associate in the Austin office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Cusenbary represents public and private borrowers, venture capital and private equity firms, and various types of lenders in connection with debt financings, with a focus on the technology and life sciences industries. Ms. Cusenbary has advised on a variety of debt transactions, including:

  • Growth debt, including venture, structured and lower middle market
  • Direct lending, private capital, growth equity, and leveraged financings
  • Asset-based transactions
  • Reserves-based lending transactions

Ms. Cusenbary has served as a local leader of the Women’s Law Group and on the Women Enriching Business Committee, and she has received recognition from the firm as a best supervisor and diversity champion.

In law school, she was an editor of the Texas International Law Journal and spent a semester on exchange at the University of Oslo Faculty of Law in Oslo, Norway.

Ms. Cusenbary is a member of the University of Texas and Trinity University alumni networks and regularly serves as a mentor to law students at The University of Texas School of Law.
