Eric Znotins is an associate in the Bay Area offices of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Znotins represents emerging companies, venture capital and private equity firms, and other investors in connection with:

  • Venture capital financings
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Formation and corporate governance matters

He also advises public and private companies and investors on mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Znotins authors articles and publications on legal issues.

Mr. Znotins experience includes representing:

  • IFM Investors and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in their C$2.8 billion acquisition of the Canadian district energy operations of Enwave Energy Corporation from Brookfield Infrastructure Partners*
  • Vertu Capital as lead investor in the C$60 million minority recapitalization of Dejero Labs, an innovator in resilient connectivity for critical communications, in partnership with Ubicom Ventures*
  • CPP Investments as an investor in the US$70 million Series C financing of Canalyst Financial Modeling, a leading provider of financial data and analytics*
