Eric Finkelberg is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.

Eric represents public and private companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions in mergers, acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and joint ventures. His practice focuses on capital markets, including initial public offerings (IPOs) and secondary offerings, as well as investment grade and high-yield debt offerings, and tender offers.

Eric also represents companies with respect to general corporate and securities matters, including corporate governance issues, Exchange Act reporting obligations, and stock exchange rules and requirements.

Eric maintains an active pro bono practice, representing individuals in various immigration related matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Eric was a corporate associate at a leading international law firm. While attending Cornell Law School, Eric served as symposium editor for the Cornell International Law Journal

Eric’s experience includes advising:

  • Lineage in its US$5.1 billion initial public offering
  • Initial purchasers in STORE Capital’s US$350 million senior unsecured notes offering
  • An operating partnership of Phillips Edison in its US$350 million bond offering
  • Safehold in its US$350 million and subsequent US$300 million bond offerings
  • The initial purchasers of Itron, Inc.’s US$805 million offering of convertible senior notes
  • Live Nation in its US$1.1 billion offering of convertible senior notes
