David Rao is an associate in the San Diego office of Latham & Watkins, and is a member of the firm’s Corporate Department.
Mr. Rao advises clients on real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and financing, and other sophisticated real estate transactions across office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and single-family assets.
Mr. Rao maintains an active pro bono practice. On behalf of his client who was seeking service-connected benefits, Mr. Rao achieved a favorable outcome on appeal to the Board of Veterans Appeals.
During law school, Mr. Rao was a judicial extern for Judge Thomas J. Whelan in the US District Court, Southern District of California.
