Danielle Stobie is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Banking Practice.

Danielle's experience includes advising sponsors, corporate borrowers, banks, and other financial institutions across a broad range of cross-border finance transactions, with a particular focus on leveraged and acquisition financings.

Danielle spent time on secondment to the Leveraged Debt Capital Markets’ legal team of Deutsche Bank in 2024 and 2025.

Danielle's experience includes advising:

  • A consortium of private credit funds in connection with the PIK Holdco financing for CD&R’s acquisition of a 50% controlling stake in Opella, the consumer healthcare business of Sanofi
  • Carlyle in connection with the financing of its acquisition of energy assets from Energean
  • The arrangers and lenders on a syndicated senior secured term loan B and Holdco PIK for IFS, a global enterprise software solutions provider headquartered in Sweden
  • Imagination Technologies on a US$100 million convertible term loan to support the company's continued growth and development of technologies and intellectual property solutions
  • Blue Owl Capital in relation to a US$120 million financing round for CloudPay
  • Cinven in connection with the financing of its public acquisition offer for German-listed company SYNLAB*
  • The mandated lead arrangers on the amendment and extension of 3i-owned Action’s €3.625 billion financing*
  • Stirling Square Capital Partners in connection with the financing of its acquisition of Eurofins Digital Testing*
