Danny Nordstrom is a corporate associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Nordstrom primarily handles mergers and acquisitions and other strategic corporate transactions. He advises private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and public and private companies on:

Mr. Nordstrom applies a commercially focused approach to help clients structure and execute transactions across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the healthcare and life sciences, technology and energy and infrastructure sectors. 

Mr. Nordstrom started his career at Latham in the firm’s London office where he focused on cross-border capital markets transactions.

Mr. Nordstrom has represented private equity and strategic clients in a range of mergers and acquisitions and strategic corporate transactions, including:

  • A consortium of investors led by Eric Macy and Mike Corbat in the acquisition of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort from the Kemmerer family
  • ArchiMed, a healthcare-focused investment firm, in its US$1.2 billion take-private acquisition of Natus Medical, a medical device company
  • Natus Medical, an ArchiMed portfolio company, in its acquisition of Micromed
  • Brookfield Infrastructure in the carve out of certain US natural gas storage assets through the sale by its portfolio company, Rockpoint, of multiple facilities to Enbridge and Spire
  • Pipedrive, a sales CRM platform, in its sale of a majority interest to Vista Equity Partners 
  • Behrman Capital in the sale of its portfolio company, ILC Dover, a global engineering and manufacturing company, to New Mountain Capital
  • Neumora, a biotechnology company backed by ARCH Venture Partners, in its initial formation through the acquisition of multiple life sciences companies
  • Orbital Therapeutics, a biotechnology company backed by ARCH Venture Partners and a16z, in its formation, initial funding, and entry into a collaboration agreement with Beam Therapeutics
  • Paradigm, a tech-enabled clinical trial platform company backed by ARCH Venture Partners and General Catalyst in its acquisition of Deep Lens
  • Coherus BioSciences in multiple strategic transactions, including the divestiture of its Ophthalmology business to Sandoz (pending) and its acquisition of Surface Oncology
  • Servco Pacific Capital in its controlling investment in Fender Musical Instruments Corporation through the acquisition of shares from TPG Growth
  • Nanosys, an advanced materials manufacturer, in the sale of its quantum dot business to Shoei Chemical
  • Arixa Pharmaceuticals, a developer of oral antibiotics, in its sale to Pfizer 
  • Broadcom, Inc. in multiple strategic acquisitions
  • Education.com, a venture backed educational technology company, in its sale to IXL Leaning
  • Gemba Academy, an educational technology company, in its sale of a majority interest to Forum Media Group
  • RapidAI in its acquisition of EndoVantage, LLC
  • IMGN Media, a media technology company, in its sale to Warner Music Group
  • A global medical device company in multiple debt and equity investments and strategic corporate transactions
