Corrie Eames is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Mr. Eames represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and corporate borrowers on a range of complex cross-border deals including leveraged, acquisition, syndicated, and general finance transactions.

Mr. Eames maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting Cancer Research UK (CRUK) in the review, negotiation, and conclusion of commercial contracts relating to CRUK’s fundraising events.

Mr. Eames’ experience includes advising:

  • Permira in relation to the refinancing of CABB International GmbH’s existing senior secured notes and super senior RCF
  • A consortium, led by Blackstone and Permira, on the private credit loan financing for its acquisition of Adevinta, the world’s largest online classified advertising business. The transaction was one of the largest European buyouts announced in 2023
  • The creditors committee in relation to the comprehensive recapitalization of Flint Group, a global supplier to the printing and packaging sectors
  • SUSE (a Luxembourg multinational open-source software company) on the loan financing for a purchase offer and delisting by EQT Partners
  • TPG Capital’s Greencross in relation to A$1.5 billion cov-lite unitranche refinancing and dividend recapitalization, consisting of a US$553 million term loan tranche and a A$750 million term loan tranche, as well as a first-out A$60 million revolving credit facility*
  • Pacific Equity Partners in relation to the Aus TLB financing of its US$449 million acquisition of 100% of the shares in Citadel Group Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement and subsequent incremental facilities/acquisitions*
  • BGH Capital in relation to the unitranche financing in connection with its acquisition of the global education group, Navitas, by way of a scheme of arrangement*
  • TPG Capital’s Novotech Health in relation to its US$760 million raising, comprising a US$255 million private placement and a US$505 million debt refinancing transaction*
  • KKR in relation to its acquisition of the Laser Clinics business, funded via a unitranche loan*
  • Viva Energy Group Limited on the refinancing of its debt facilities in connection with its successful IPO and listing on the ASX and, by raising A$2.65 billion, being the largest non-government IPO in Australian corporate history*
