Claudia Wang is an associate in the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Wang advises private equity funds in a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions for financial and strategic clients as well as general corporate matters.

Before joining Latham, Ms. Wang presented research, “Managing the Surge in Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs),” before a panel of SEC officials including Commissioner Hester M. Pierce as part of the 2021 Investor Advocacy Engagement Series: University Roundtables. Ms. Wang also won the Mark C. Mamolen ’77 Prize in Business at the University of Chicago Law School for academic excellence the area of business law.

Ms. Wang volunteers as a judge for the University of Chicago Law School Hinton Moot Court and is a member of the Asian American Bar Association (Chicago).
