Cindy Lee advises clients on a broad range of transactions across the venture capital and emerging growth life cycle.

Cindy draws on extensive in-house experience to guide venture capital firms, private and public companies, and institutions on:

  • Public and private financing transactions in the US and Europe
  • General corporate matters, including governance matters
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • IPOs and other capital markets transactions

Cindy also regularly helps emerging companies navigate sophisticated operational and governance issues as they scale, including international expansions and regulatory matters.

Before joining Latham, Cindy served as general counsel at Sequoia Capital, a leading venture capital firm, where she was responsible for the firm’s investment transactions in private and public companies, as well as third party funds, complex portfolio company matters, fund formation matters, and day-to-day legal operations across the US and Europe.

She previously worked at another global law firm, where she represented venture capital and early-stage company clients in corporate and financing transactions. Earlier in her career, she externed for Judge Wendy Beetlestone of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Cindy’s experience includes advising:
