Chen Tang is an associate in the New York office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Private Equity Finance Practice.

Chen advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as private and public company borrowers, on a wide array of US and cross-border debt financing transactions across all stages of the investment and corporate life cycle.

Well-versed in the nuances that debt structures present and equipped with a practical approach, Chen helps clients achieve their institutional and commercial goals on a full range of financing transactions, including:

  • Acquisition financing for leveraged buyouts and portfolio company borrowings, including cash-flow and asset-based credit facilities and Holdco financings 
  • Liability management transactions, exchange offers, unrestricted subsidiary financings, bridge financings, and other liquidity facilities

Chen forges long-term relationships with her clients and draws on sophisticated market knowledge to tailor creative solutions to clients’ financing needs.
