Caitlin Fitzpatrick is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Antitrust & Competition Practice.

Ms. Fitzpatrick is an experienced antitrust advisor who helps clients obtain regulatory approval of mergers and acquisitions from the US Department of Justice (DOJ), US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and competition authorities around the world. Ms. Fitzpatrick also advises clients on antitrust compliance issues and investigations by antitrust regulators and has represented clients from a wide range of industries, including:

  • Life sciences
  • Natural gas and electricity
  • Technology
  • Consumer goods
  • Pharmaceuticals

In addition, Ms. Fitzpatrick has represented companies in complex commercial litigation, civil antitrust litigation, and commercial arbitration in state and federal courts around the country as well as before the International Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Fitzpatrick is a member of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section and has served as a Young Lawyer Representative for the Programs Committee and the Pricing Conduct Committee. She was also a member of the Editorial Board of the ABA Joint Conduct Committee's newsletter.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Fitzpatrick was an associate at a major law firm based in New York. She earned her JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she served on the board of the Harvard Women’s Law Association and was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender.
