Brandon Kerns is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm's Environment, Land & Resources Practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kerns served as a law clerk at the US Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Regional Council for Region 4. Prior to law school, Mr. Kerns worked as a consultant for a leading upstream oil & gas software firm and as a research assistant focused on modeling water quality standards across all English river waters.

Mr. Kerns received his JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. While attending, he participated in the Housing Law and Policy Clinic, served as the president of the Energy and Environmental Law Society, and served as a teaching assistant for Professor Klerman’s Property Law course and Professor Sandoval’s Real Estate Transactions and Finance course.
