Becky Wee is an associate in the Corporate Department of the London office of Latham & Watkins.

Ms. Wee handles a broad range of corporate matters in the energy sector. Her experience includes advising clients on cross-border energy and natural resources projects and transactions, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures, and project development.

Prior to joining Latham, Ms. Wee practiced at a top tier global city firm in London, and spent time seconded to an oil and gas major as legal counsel in their M&A team, as well as to a major renewable energy company.

Ms. Wee’s experience includes advising: 

  • TotalEnergies on its acquisition of CEPSA's upstream assets in Abu Dhabi
  • Chevron on the disposal of its interests in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil field in Azerbaijan and the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline across Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey to MOL for approximately US$1.57 billion*
  • A joint venture comprising of Woodside, Cairn, FAR and Petrosen in relation to the development and project financing of the SNE/Sangomar field, offshore Senegal*
  • Centrica in connection with its successful acquisition of a 50% interest in Barrow Shipping Limited*
