Beatrice Leung is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Beatrice focuses on a range of corporate matters, including advising private equity funds and corporations on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions.

Prior to joining the Hong Kong office, Beatrice was an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins.

  • Existing owners EQT, CPP Investments, and Nord Anglia Education on the US$14.5 billion sale of Nord Anglia Education to a consortium formed by Neuberger Berman Private Markets, EQT, and CPP Investments, together with other global institutional investors
  • BPEA EQT Funds V and VI and portfolio company Vistra (BPEA EQT) on the merger of Vistra with Tricor, an existing BPEA EQT Fund VIII portfolio company, in a transaction that values the combined company at an enterprise value of US$6.5 billion. This transaction was awarded the Private Equity Exit of the Year (Large Cap) at AVCJ Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards 2023 and Best Private Equity Deal: Hong Kong at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards 2023
  • Ulta Beauty on its acquisition of Space NK, a leading British beauty retailer, from Manzanita Capital
  • Goldman Sachs Asset Management on its acquisition of the Clear Group, a commercial insurance broker focused on the UK corporate and SME market, from ECI Partners, and Clear in connection with multiple add-on acquisitions of insurance brokers
  • Darktrace plc, a global leader in cybersecurity artificial intelligence and FTSE 250 company, on its US$5.3 billion takeover by Thoma Bravo
  • Ares Management on its:
    • £755 million preferred equity investment alongside Lone Star in Wembley’s Quintain
    • Acquisition of BlueCove Limited, the London-based scientific fixed income manager
  • Intuitive Ventures on its US$100 million Series A funding round of Amber Therapeutics, a London-based medtech company
  • Two Circles on its acquisition of Spring Media Group, a Sweden-based international full-service sports agency
  • Anglo American on its:
    • US$3.775 billion sale of its Australian steelmaking coal business to Peabody Energy Corporation
