Beatrice Leung is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Corporate Department.

Ms. Leung focuses on a range of corporate matters, including advising private equity funds and corporations on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions.

Prior to qualification, Ms. Leung spent two years training in the firm’s Hong Kong office, with a six-month secondment to the firm’s London office, gaining a variety of experience in corporate and derivatives transactions.

Ms. Leung’s experience includes advising:

  • BPEA EQT Funds V and VI and portfolio company Vistra (BPEA EQT) on the merger of Vistra with Tricor, an existing BPEA EQT Fund VIII portfolio company, in a transaction which values the combined company at an enterprise value of US$6.5 billion; this transaction was named Private Equity Exit of the Year (Large Cap) by The Asian Private Equity & Venture Capital Awards 2023
  • Warburg Pincus, as investor, in its US$400 million Series D fundraise and subsequent US$80 million fundraise by Advance Intelligence Group, an AI-driven technology platform
  • Bain & Co on its acquisition of Enterprise Blueprints Limited, a UK-based IT services and consulting business
  • Goldman Sachs Asset Management on its acquisition of the Clear Group, a commercial insurance broker 
  • Integro, an Odyssey Investments portfolio company, on its acquisition of Risk Transfer Group
  • Norgine Europe B.V., a Netherlands-based specialty pharmaceutical company, in its US$2 billion sale to Goldman Sachs
  • Ares Management on its acquisition of BlueCove Limited, the London-based scientific fixed income manager 
  • Equistone Partners and Acuity Knowledge Partners (Acuity), on the sale of Acuity, a leading provider of high-value research, analytics, and business intelligence to the financial services sector, to funds advised by Permira 
  • Tianqi Lithium, a leading global lithium producer, on its HK$13.5 billion (US$1.7 billion) H share initial public offering on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited
  • The underwriters on the HK$645 million IPO and listing of Transcenta, a clinical stage global biotherapeutics company headquartered in Suzhou, China, on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong
  • Jinmao Property Services Co. Limited, the leading high-end property management provider in China, on its HK$825 million initial public offering on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited
