Amrita represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies and corporate borrowers in a variety of financing transactions.

Amrita advises private equity sponsors and private and public company borrowers in financings involving:

  • First and second lien credit facilities
  • Middle market and large cap financings
  • Refinancings
  • Cross-border and domestic acquisition financings
  • Debt restructuring transactions

Prior to joining Latham, Amrita worked as an associate in the finance group of another preeminent international law firm.

Amrita received her LLM from The University of Chicago Law School and her B.A and LL.B with Honors from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), India where she served as the managing and content editor of the Indian Journal of Law and Economics.

  • BroadStreet Partners, Inc., in its US$62 million senior secured term and revolving facility for Westland Insurance Group Ltd.*
  • Cornell Capital in senior credit facilities to finance its acquisition of Advancing Eyecare*
  • H.I.G. Capital in its take-private acquisition of Converge Technology Solutions Corp.*
  • Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in US$820 million credit facilities to finance its acquisition of Vantage Elevator Solutions*
  • Permira Advisers in financing its acquisition of Reorg Research, Inc.* 
  • PSP Investments in its take-private of Radius Global Infrastructure, Inc.*
