Amanda Mitchell Sobhani is an associate in the Finance Department of the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins.
Amanda represents banks, direct lenders, and other financial institutions in a wide range of transactional matters.
Amanda has experience structuring, negotiating and documenting various complex financing transactions, including senior secured, second lien, subordinated and unsecured credit facilities, as well as leveraged acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, first out/last out (FOLO) financings and cross-border financings. She has represented clients across a range of industries, including energy, fintech, infrastructure, government and consumer products.
Prior to joining Latham, Amanda practiced at an international law firm in New York representing public and private companies and financial institutions across Latin America in connection with financings, debt and equity offerings, and out-of-court restructurings.
