Alayna Kenney is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm ’s Corporate Department.

Ms. Kenney advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.

Ms. Kenney has spent time in-house on secondment to Nord Anglia Education and, prior to joining the firm, in the legal team of a FTSE-100 company, listed in London and New York.

Ms. Kenney’s experience includes advising:

  • Ericsson/Cradlepoint on its acquisition of Ericom Software
  • RWE on its partnership with Masdar to co-develop an offshore wind development project at Dogger Bank South
  • Farfetch on the proposed acquisition of 47.5% of YOOX Net-a-Porter from Richemont
  • Threads, on its divestment of a majority stake to Chalhoub
  • The Carlyle Group on its acquisition of a majority stake in luxury, streetwear, and sportswear retailer END
  • Eleusis, a life science company dedicated to unlocking the full therapeutic power of psychedelics, on multiple matters, including its:
    • Acquisition of Kalypso Wellness Centers, a leading provider of ketamine infusion therapies in the United States, and certain intellectual property
    • US$446 million merger with Silver Spike Acquisition Corp.
    • Sale to Beckley Psytech
  • Nordic Capital on its US$846 million acquisition of Advanz Pharma
  • Ligand Pharmaceuticals on its sale of Vernalis (R&D) Limited, a UK-based fragment and structure-based drug discovery research company, to HitGen
