Aiyanna Sanders is a corporate associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice.

Aiyanna represents studios, distribution and production companies, media companies, financial institutions, investors, and other entertainment industry clients in a variety of transactions involving the acquisition, production, financing, exploitation, and licensing of intellectual property and other media-related assets. Aiyanna currently serves on the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.

Aiyanna received her JD from Harvard Law School. While at Harvard Law, she served as a research assistant for the Center on the Legal Profession, the Access to Justic Lab, and the Program In Islamic Law, and as a teaching fellow for various courses.

Prior to joining Latham full-time, Aiyanna was a summer associate in the Los Angeles office.

Aiyanna’s experience includes advising:

  • Content Partners on multiple M&A transactions
  • Blumhouse in connection with its acquisition of the go-forward rights to the Saw franchise
  • Multiple minority investments in various sports teams
  • Fubo on its merger with Disney’s Hulu + Live TV business 
  • Endeavor on various M&A transactions, including its US$21 billion merger of UFC and WWE
  • Beyoncé in connection with various corporate ventures
