Aimee Godfrey is an associate in the London office of Latham & Watkins. She advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Latham, Aimee was legal counsel at a large infrastructure private equity fund.

Aimee's experience includes advising: 

  • The ad hoc group of senior lenders to Accolade Wines on its £375 million debt and equity restructuring
  • Hilton on its acquisition of a majority controlling interest in Sydell Group to expand the NoMad Hotels brand from its existing London flagship location to high-end markets around the world
  • EQT and senior management on the sale of Rimes to Five Arrows, the private equity arm of Rothschild & Co
  • EQT, CPP Investments, and Nord Anglia Education on the US$14.5 billion sale of Nord Anglia Education
  • Abcam plc on its US$5.7 billion acquisition by Danaher Corporation
  • GIP and KKR on the strategic partnership with Vodafone to invest in Vantage Towers
  • Libbey Glass on the sale of its European business
  • Goldman Sachs, Bowmark Capital, and Aston Lark on the sale of the Aston Lark group, one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers
  • Ares Management Corporation on the sale of Farrow & Ball, a UK-based manufacturer and retailer of paint and wallpaper, to Hempel Group
  • Atotech, a leading specialty chemicals company, on its US$5.1 billion takeover by MKS Instruments
  • Prosegur Cash, a Spanish-listed company, on acquiring a majority stake in the ChangeGroup, an international group dedicated to foreign exchange activities
