Trio of Latham Partners Chosen Among Top Women in Antitrust
Leading industry publication Global Competition Review (GCR) has selected partners Amanda Reeves, Belinda Lee, and Elizabeth Prewitt to its prestigious Women in Antitrust List. Only published every five years, GCR’s coveted list honors the “female private practitioners, enforcers, in-house counsel, economists, and academics who deserve recognition for their standout careers.”
Global Chair of Latham’s Antitrust & Competition Practice and GCR’s 2021 Lawyer of the Year, Reeves is an industry-recognized lawyer whose practice runs the gamut, including government conduct investigations, merger review, counseling, and complex antitrust litigations that raise novel issues. On the merger review side, she’s served in a lead role in several headline-making strategic deals from over the last two years, valued at nearly US$100 billion in total. On the conduct/litigation side, Reeves routine represents clients in complex issues at the intersection of antitrust law, intellectual property law and the FDA process.

Prewitt is a leader in the antitrust bar with a track record handling some of the most complex, high-profile antitrust investigations, including during her many years as a prosecutor for the Antitrust Division of the US DOJ. She is an accomplished first-chair trial lawyer, cartel defense counsel, and a prolific and trusted thought leader in the antitrust community. She brings a unique perspective to complex and often cross-border investigations and litigation forged from her roles leading and trying cases at the DOJ, her secondment to the European Commission, and her varied private practice experiences.
