Latham & Watkins Advises Trade Republic on €250 million Series C Financing Extension

Latham & Watkins LLP has advised Europe’s largest savings platform Trade Republic on its €250 million Series C extension. The round was led by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board (Ontario Teachers’), one of the world’s largest pension funds and institutional investors. The extension, based on a valuation uplift to €5 billion (previously €4.4 billion), underscores Trade Republic’s strong business performance and growth.

Ontario Teachers’ investment expands on last year’s Sequoia-led Series C, on which Latham advised Trade Republic and which marked one of Europe’s largest venture investments in financial services to date.

Hamburg partner Nils Röver led the Latham team, with associates Jacob Ahme and Jana Maué.
