Latham & Watkins Advises DPE Deutsche Private Equity on €708 Million DPE Continuation Fund I
Latham & Watkins has advised DPE Deutsche Private Equity (DPE), a leading growth investor in the DACH region, in connection with the DPE Continuation Fund I (DPE CF I) with a fund size of c. €708 million. DPE CF I offers existing investors in DPE Fund III a choice of full liquidity or partial or full reinvestment in DPE CF I.
DPE CF I was formed to invest into DPE portfolio companies Eraneos Group and valantic Group – two of the DACH region’s leading technology and digital transformation consultancies. The transaction represents the largest German GP-led secondary in history.
DPE CF I has been capitalized by a consortium of leading global secondary investors alongside several further new and existing investors. Management teams of both firms stay significantly invested.
Latham & Watkins regularly advises DPE on transactions, including on the initial investment of DPE III in valantic group.
