Latham Advises MTT Shipping on IPO

Singapore team represents leading Malaysia container liner shipping operator in the country’s largest transportation and logistics IPO in over a decade.
Latham & Watkins has advised MTT Shipping Sdn. Bhd, the leading container liner shipping operator in Malaysia based on its market share of domestic cabotage volume from Peninsular Malaysia to East Malaysia and Brunei in 2025, on its initial public offering (IPO) on the Bursa Malaysia. The company has raised RM 652.5 million from the public issue.
This marks the country’s largest IPO in the transportation and logistics sector in over a decade by market capitalization and IPO deal size.
The Latham team was led by Singapore corporate partner Sharon Lau and counsel Kelly Teoh, with Foreign Legal Consultant Jose Mendoza.
