Grain Management, LLC (Grain), a leading global investment firm specializing in digital infrastructure, has announced a definitive agreement under which SpaceX will acquire 100% of Grain's nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio. The spectrum purchase will enable Starlink Mobile to support satellite direct-to-device (D2D) services for customers. The transaction is subject to FCC approval and other customary closing conditions.
Latham & Watkins advised Grain on regulatory aspects of the transaction with a team led by Washington, D.C. partner Geoffrey Starks, with associates Michael Herman and Hiromi Oka.
