Latham Advises on Corxel Pharmaceuticals and Amanat Acquisition Corp.’s Business Combination Agreement to Create a Publicly Listed Obesity-Focused Biopharmaceutical Company

Corxel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Corxel US), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative oral therapies for obesity and related cardiometabolic conditions, and Amanat Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: AMAN), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), have announced they have entered into a definitive business combination agreement. Upon completion of the proposed transaction, Corxel US will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the combined public company.
