Latham & Watkins received three awards at the 2026 ALB Philippine Law Awards, which celebrates outstanding legal achievement in the country. The firm was named Foreign Law Firm of the Year in recognition of its market-leading work in the Philippines.
Asian Legal Business also recognized two marquee deals Latham advised on:
- Capital Markets Deal of the Year: Maynilad Water Services’ ₱30 Billion IPO — Latham represented Maynilad, the operator of the largest water concession by population served within a single concession area in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, in the largest IPO in the Philippines since 2021.
- Energy Deal of the Year: Carlyle’s Sale of SierraCol Energy — A cross-border Latham team represented global investment firm Carlyle on the sale of SierraCol Energy, Colombia’s largest independent oil and gas exploration and production company, to Prime Infrastructure Capital.
