Latham Advises on Dhoot Transmission’s US$321 Million IPO

Firm represents underwriters on listing of leading manufacturer of integrated electrical systems on the BSE and NSE.

Latham & Watkins acted as sole international counsel to the underwriters on Dhoot Transmission Limited’s ~ US$321 million initial public offering (IPO) on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE).

Axis Capital Limited, Jefferies India Private Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited, SBI Capital Markets Limited, and 360 ONE WAM Limited served as joint underwriters for the IPO.

The Latham team was led by Singapore partner Rajiv Gupta and Hong Kong partner Dominik Sklenar, with Singapore counsel Esha Goel, associate Kay Howe Lee, and Foreign Legal Consultants Neha Sahgal and Jayati Arora. Advice was also provided on tax matters by Chicago partner Enrique Rene de Vera, with associates Sam Yang and Ethan Lee.
