Latham & Watkins Advises AMD in Odyssey’s US$310 Million Fundraise

Firm represents the multinational semiconductor company in the AI lab’s Series B.
Odyssey has announced their US$310 million Series B at a US$1.45 billion valuation led by Natural Capital, with participation from Amazon, GV, AMD, EQT, IQT, and others. They join existing investors including Jeff Dean, Elad Gil, Qasar Younis, Kyle Vogt, and Garry Tan, alongside researchers from OpenAI, DeepMind, MSL, Recursive, and Thinking Machines. This investment significantly accelerates the company’s efforts to develop AI that can truly understand and simulate the world.
Latham & Watkins LLP advised AMD in the transaction with a corporate deal team led by Orange County/Bay Area partner Nima Movahedi and Bay Area partner Tad Freese, with associates Christopher Siino and Chloe Wallace.
