Nine Latham & Watkins partners have been named to Billboard's 2026 Top Music Lawyers list: Sy Damle, Gabe Fleet, Andy Gass, Britt Lovejoy, David Marriott, Al Pfeiffer, Alli Stillman, Jonathan West, and Joe Wetzel. Billboard's annual list honors the leading legal counselors throughout the music industry and the critical role they play in shaping the future of music.
The Billboard article identifies Latham’s litigation and deal work on behalf of AI music companies Suno and Udio as matters that implicate “the most important legal issues facing the music industry.” This year's honorees build on Latham's consistent presence on the list, which has recognized the firm year after year for representing “some of the biggest brands in music,” including Spotify, Live Nation, iHeartMedia, Pandora, and the Digital Media Association, among other leading companies and trade associations.
