Latham Advises JP Energie Environnement and Générale du Solaire on Their Proposed Combination

Latham & Watkins is advising JP Energie Environnement (JPee) and Générale du Solaire (GDS), two French independent energy producers, on their proposed combination, with the support of Banque des Territoires, which holds a 34% stake in JPee and is also a partner of GDS. The transaction aims to create a leading independent French energy company dedicated to delivering sovereign, renewable, and competitive electricity production across Europe.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.
