Latham Advises Macquarie on Sale of Vibrant Energy to Inox Clean Energy
Latham & Watkins has advised Macquarie Corporate Holdings Pty Limited (Macquarie) on the sale of Vibrant Energy, a diversified renewable energy independent power producer, to Inox Clean Energy.
The sale is the culmination of several years of investment by Macquarie in the Vibrant business to grow the portfolio from 65 MW to 1337 MW, and is a further step in Macquarie’s transition of its renewable energy activities to an asset management model under Macquarie Asset Management Green Investments.
The Latham team was led by Singapore partner Sidharth Bhasin and counsel Penelope Davey, with associates Cherine Teh, Ching Yeung (Frances) Yu, and Jen Whee Lee. Advice was also provided on project development and finance matters by Singapore partner Don Stokes, with counsel Rob Thompson, and associate Aakash Sardana.
