Latham & Watkins Honored at Japan Law Firm Awards 2025

Latham & Watkins has been honored as one of the leading law firms in the Projects & Infrastructure category at Asia Business Law Journal’s Japan Law Firm Awards 2025. Latham was also listed as the “foreign favourite” law firm at the annual awards celebrating the best law firms in Japan.

Asia Business Law Journal commended the firm for advising leading Japanese sponsors, lenders, and developers on a number of high-profile infrastructure projects over the past year, including our role as lenders’ counsel advising the export credit agencies and commercial bank lenders on the project financing for the expansion of the Muara Laboh geothermal power project in West Sumatra, Indonesia, a priority energy transition project under the Asia Zero Emission Community framework.
