Antonio Coletti and Jeff Lawlis Named Capital Markets Lawyers of the Year by TopLegal

Two Latham & Watkins Milan partners were named Capital Markets Lawyers of the Year by TopLegal, one of Italy’s leading legal publications, at the TopLegal Awards 2025. The recognitions underscore Latham’s exceptional leadership in capital markets both within Italy and on the global stage.

Antonio Coletti, widely recognized as one of Italy’s leading corporate lawyers, was named Equity Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year by TopLegal. Drawing on more than two decades of capital markets experience, Coletti regularly advises on some of the highest-profile capital markets transactions in the Italian market. His recent matters include advising Apollo on the €1.2 billion ABB on Lottomatica Group’s shares and industrial manufacturer Carco PRP Group in a strategic acquisition.

Jeff Lawlis, Global Vice Chair of Latham’s Capital Markets Practice, was named TopLegal’s Debt Capital Markets Lawyer of the Year. Lawlis serves as a go-to advisor to many clients on a full range of financing needs, guiding Italian and international companies in their most complex debt transactions. His recent matters include advising the joint bookrunners on Italian oil and gas group Snam’s US$2 billion bond issuance, as well as TeamSystem, a European provider of AI-powered SaaS solutions, and Hellman & Friedman on a groundbreaking €2 billion financing transaction.
