Latham & Watkins Advises EMZ Partners on Investment in koenig.solutions
Latham & Watkins LLP has advised European private equity firm EMZ Partners (EMZ) on its acquisition of a minority stake in koenig.solutions (KS). KS is a specialized SAP service provider focused on SAP data management, system transformation (S/4HANA), and managed services for the energy and utilities sector. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
The two founders, Artjom and Gottlieb König, will remain on board as majority shareholders and will continue in their roles as managing directors, guiding the company through its next growth phase. The objective is to establish KS as the leading provider of SAP services for the energy and utilities sector in the DACH region.
Latham & Watkins regularly advises EMZ and its portfolio companies on transactions, including the recent acquisition of the consulting firm Haselhorst Associates.
