Latham & Watkins Advises Great Hill Partners in US$7 Billion Fund Formation

Great Hill Partners, a private equity firm that invests in high-growth, disruptive companies, announced the closing of Great Hill Equity Partners IX, L.P., with commitments totaling US$7 billion, significantly exceeding its US$5 billion target. The fundraise was substantially oversubscribed and reached its hard cap five months after its formal launch. Great Hill has now raised funds with over US$19 billion in commitments since 1998.

Latham & Watkins LLP represented Great Hill Partners in the fund formation with an Investment Funds team led by New York partners Andrea Schwartzman and Erin Bergey, with associates Christina Smith, Victoria Cappucci, and Daniel Sung.
