Erin Bergey advises private equity sponsors on investment fund formation, investment structuring, and related transactions.

Erin brings a collaborative approach to negotiation to advise clients in a wide range of industries, on:

• Internal sponsor economic arrangements
• Co-investments
• GP-led secondary transactions
• Separately managed accounts and funds-of-one
• Strategic transactions, including the acquisition of investment managers

She has developed a sophisticated understanding of clients’ needs built on long-term relationships. She excels at crafting solutions to complex problems in novel situations.

Erin maintains an active pro bono practice, with a focus on assisting juvenile immigrants to obtain legal status.

Prior to law school, she taught high school math, as part of the Virginia Teaching Scholarship Loan Program.
