Latham Advises Platinum Equity and Urbaser on €1 Billion PIK Toggle Notes Financing

Cross-border team advised on high-profile bond financing.
Latham & Watkins has advised Platinum Equity and its portfolio company Urbaser, a world leader in environmental solutions, on its €1 billion PIK toggle notes financing.
The financing included the offering of €625 million 10½% / 11¼% senior PIK toggle notes due 2032 and $450 million 12%/12¾% senior PIK toggle notes due 2032.
The Latham team was led by London corporate partner Matthew Schneider and Madrid partner Ignacio Pallarés, and London associates Alexander Kartyshev, Evan Aluyen, Isabella Pazaryna, and Madrid associate Marino Aineto.
