Latham Advises on MRH Trowe’s Unitranche Refinancing

Latham & Watkins has advised MRH Trowe, a portfolio company of TA Associates, AnaCap, and the founder-group investors on its recent unitranche refinancing provided by a number of international credit funds. Proceeds were used to repay the group’s existing financing arrangements and for funding of bolt-on acquisitions.

MRH Trowe is a prominent, founder-led platform in Germany specializing in the “buy and build” of insurance and pension brokerage services. It provides extensive and specialized expertise across nearly all areas of insurance and employee benefits, catering to industrial and commercial clients, institutions, and high-end private clients.

The Latham team was led by London finance partner Hugh O’Sullivan, with associates Mark Walker and James Futcher. Advice on German financing matters was provided by Munich partner Christian Jahn, with associates Anastasia Dressler and Valentin Mezger; and on tax matters by Munich partner Ulf Kiecker and London partner Karl Mah, with associate Ines Kilkelly.
