Latham & Watkins has advised the joint bookrunners on Cassa Depositi e Prestiti’s (CDP) US$1.5 billion yankee bond issuance, its second transaction in the US capital markets following the inaugural issuance in 2023. Goldman Sachs International and BofA Securities acted as global coordinators and joint bookrunners, and BNP Paribas, Citigroup, IMI-Intesa Sanpaolo, J.P. Morgan, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking, and UniCredit acted as joint bookrunners on the transaction.

The Latham team was led by London and Milan corporate partner Ryan Benedict and Milan corporate partner Jeff Lawlis, with Milan associates Irene Pistotnik and Leonardo Simeoni. Advice on Italian law matters was provided by Milan partner Antonio Coletti with associate Marco Bonasso, and on US tax matters by New York partner Jocelyn Noll.
